Step 1
WireGuard VPN Client
Get the WireGuard VPN Client suitable for your laptop, desktop or smarptphone.
Step 2
Copy-Paste the Config
- Once the VPN is installed in Step 1 above, launch the client on your device.
- Create a new configuration by clicking ➕ at the bottom left.
- Give your config a Name.
- Copy & paste the configuration sent by your site-admin. If you are a NanoCloud or PicoCloud user, just email ashant﹫re-cloud.io with your customer number.
Finally..
Activate
Don't forget to double-click on the connection setting to activate it.
Test
To test if the connection is active click on this private cloud link and see if you can access the test private cloud resources at http://10.0.100.46:5555/users
Smartphones
VPN Keys on QR-Code
For easy installation of a VPN connection between your PrivateCloud and your smartphone, the Re:Cloud VPN client for smartphones is capable of reading QR-Codes. Yes, the VPN keys and configuration are embedded on QR.
Follow Step 3 and 4 to get your smartphone VPN-enabled.
Step 3
Install VPN Client for Smartphone
Install your respective smartphone VPN client for Android or iOS from the official website.
Step 4
Scan QR-Code
Request your Site Admin to send a "QR Code for VPN".
Upon receiving it, and only after installing the client in Step 3 above, scan the QR-Code and follow the logical screens on your mobile.
